Two afterschool programs engage west side youth civically and socially

Education leaders make progress to keep experienced educators on the west side, but easier work still draws teachers away

The Continuing Education office is open Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and is located off the main entrance to West High, right through the entrance doors of the Commons.|Dan Potts forages for mushrooms. – The Wild Foods Foraging class, taught by Dan Potts, meets twice a year in Spring and Autumn for six sessions each and is limited to just over two dozen participants.
